Senior C++ Developer - London

A well established telecommunications company is looking for a talented C++ developer to join one of their most successful and expansive teams. The position has arisen due to the success of the company over the last couple of years, particularly within this specific team. As a Senior C++ developer you will be in a team with of some of the strongest technologists in the industry, which will allow you to add to continually add to your skill set. The C++ developer will take a hands on approach to the development of multi-threaded systems that affect the P&L of the business, globally. As a direct result of the continued growth of the team, the C++ developer will have massive scope for progression through the team.
Responsibilities of the C++ developer (C++, Linux, Unix, STL, Multithreading)
-Development of multi-threaded systems on Unix.
-To play a lead role in the design, implementation and support of some of the most critical functions of the business.
-Actively use your development skills on highly visible projects that add significant value to their clients.
-Take the lead on some development projects.
The person – C++ developer (C++, Linux, Unix, STL, Multithreading)
-Solid C++ programming experience
-Linux/UNIX
-Expert C++ skills. Practical experience of using C++ to build multi-threaded applications
-Knowledge of STL
-Fluency in spoken and written English
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills – should be able to describe examples of how these have been applied.
-Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure/multi-tasking
-Strong sense of personal responsibility
-Good team player. Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment
